The installation of this sandstone amphitheater seating was the culmination of years of fundraising by the school community. Their aim was to provide a place on the school oval where the whole school could meet. Previously students had to sit on an eroded grass bank. The sandstone seating has changed the way the school holds events. Sports days, concerts, and fetes are all now held on the oval with the amphitheater and mature gum trees providing a backdrop to the events.
