The client’s brief was to design a native garden and food forest. The garden design was divided into two parts. The front garden design focused on encouraging wildlife into the garden and, screening the street. The rear garden design focused on creating a food forest and, entertaining spaces. Providing a natural water feature filled with native plants. A fire pit area for gatherings in the evenings. The food forest surrounded and encompassed the garden. It provided the structure and backdrop to a large chicken run. And a vegetable garden where they can relax and enjoy the outdoors.
