After flooding in 2022 the Canoe Club wanted to create a gathering space for their members along the river front. Somewhere to sit and gather and socialise as a club. They wanted easier access down to the clubhouse for members to bring their canoes up and down the river bank. While stabilising the steep bank. All of this needed to be flood-resilient for future events.
