This playground was designed to be something that was completely different to the other play space that Berrinba East State School offered.
The design focused on creating a variety of play spaces which included a dry creek bed, a mud digging zone, and quieter spaces for students to sit. A teaching space for a class to gather and the addition of plenty of new trees and planting.
Recently opened this space has provided students plenty of digging opportunities and has allowed students to play in a variety of ways previously unavailable to them.
We cannot wait to see how this space develops over the years and how students continue to change the space as it evolves.
